It is about creating an encounter with it.
My paintings explore what happens when observation becomes feeling: the fleeting quality of light, the movement of a petal and the emotional encounter that remains.
Every painting is entirely hand-made, and exists only once.
About the Artist
My work explores the emotional language of flowers and our enduring connection with the natural world.
Flowers can carry tenderness and joy. I move between realistic and expressive approaches depending on the subject, my mood and the story I want the painting to tell. Some works are carefully observed; others become looser, more gestural and abstract as I paint.
I don’t want to be confined to a single visual language. For me, versatility is part of staying curious - allowing each subject to find its own way onto the canvas.
